You may or may not have heard about the recent flood that took place in Mindanao, Philippines. There was a typhoon which caused a huge flood which killed over 1000 people and left more than 50’000 homeless. This hasn’t got very much news coverage so many people aren’t aware of it and therefore they won’t be getting the donations they need to build their homes and lives again…

So I have decided to put on a music night to raise money for a charity that are helping the victims of this flood, they are called Shelter Box and if you’d like to see the work they do have a look at this link http://www.shelterbox.org/

Tickets are £8 and every single penny of that will go towards helping a family rebuild their home and their lives
